Wishing Tree Wall Brings Community Together at Rosebank Care Home
Residents, staff, families and students came together to celebrate a heartfelt new addition at Rosebank Care Home in Bampton — the official opening of the home’s “Wishing Tree Wall.”
The special installation was unveiled during a grand opening event, marking the culmination of a meaningful collaboration with students from Cokethorpe School. The students visited the home to help design and paint the Wishing Tree, creating a vibrant and uplifting focal point for the community.

The wall now displays a collection of wishes contributed by residents, staff, families and students, symbolising hope, connection and shared aspirations. It has quickly become a cherished space within the home, offering comfort, positivity and something for everyone to look forward to.
The project has strengthened intergenerational bonds and highlighted the power of community spirit. Staff at Rosebank Care Home expressed their gratitude to the students and everyone involved in bringing the initiative to life.

The Wishing Tree Wall was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Premium Care Group’s Operations Director, Fiona, with the event supported by Lifestyle Manager, Paige, whose efforts helped make the day a memorable success.
The initiative stands as a lasting reminder of the importance of connection, creativity and hope within the care home and the wider community.
