It’s certainly been an eventful start to March! Just as the daffodils were starting to put in an appearance and we thought spring was upon us, Storm Emma and the ‘Beast from the East’ swept in with other ideas.
Our Team’s Commitment Amidst Harsh Weather
Whilst Bampton undoubtedly looked beautiful and serene in the snow on the coldest spring day on record, we were all too aware that with a number of roads blocked due to drifting snow, our teams could struggle to get to the home, which could have had an impact on our Residents.
Despite the conditions, we were so proud to see not just one or two people brave the roads, but every single one of our team manage to get in, despite in some cases travelling some distance in the very difficult weather conditions.

Dedication at Rosebank
We have always valued teamwork at Rosebank and last weekend proved to be one of those situations that really showed the team spirit and resilience that exists throughout the home, with everyone pulling together to ensure that our residents were kept warm, safe and happy, so a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our chef, who managed to cook healthy, fresh meals despite the challenges of not having normal food deliveries. Also to Tim, who worked tirelessly for two days driving staff to and from work, in extremely difficult conditions, ensuring everyone was safe, and that both homes could be fully staffed.
