The entire Rosebank team are grateful for the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we care for and look forward to sharing more about our journey in the coming months.

Vanessa Lavender, the Care Home Manager at Rosebank, initiated the partnership with DNAS after discovering the Dementia Accreditation. Vanessa mentioned:

I came across the Dementia Accreditation by accident. I was looking on the internet to find something to get my teeth into and see what was out there for me to look at and use to improve us. I came across the free download, looked at it and thought it would be fantastic to do. It is another thing Rosebank can have under its belt to show how fab we are and ensure we are still doing things the best possible way.

I have enjoyed the journey so far, which has been very informative. I am looking forward to working with the team to make improvements where needed to ensure that all my residents and their families have the best possible experience that they can have with such a nasty, cruel disease.

If you would like more information about our dementia care services, feel free to contact us. We’d love to share more about how we support our residents and their families.
