We provide both long- and short-term care, with a special interest in helping people with all levels of memory impairment and dementia. We have achieved ‘Platinum’ recognition for The Gold Standard Framework, a National Award, for our expertise in End of Life Care.

We offer care in a safe, comfortable and happy environment. We have a close working relationship with our local medical teams, who support us brilliantly on a daily basis.

The last Care Quality Commission inspector commented on our commitment to make our residents and their families feel included in everything we do, and strive to create a homely environment, where all our residents are valued as individuals.

An Experienced & Friendly Care Team

Our residents are cared for by experienced, friendly and enthusiastic staff who work closely as a team with both the individuals themselves and their families. We always have high staffing levels to ensure quality care, which is carried out with attention to privacy and dignity.

Vanessa Lavender is the Manager, and is supported daily by Dawn, her Deputy, and our extensive care team. Ongoing staff training is a priority in the home, so that staff can meet the varied care needs of all our residents. The whole team works together and are actively supported by Vanessa, to enable them to do their job in a warm, relaxed and professional manner.

Variety & Choice

Mandie and Gemma, our Lifestyle Support Co-ordinators, are a vital part of life at Rosebank. They ensure we have a varied programme of activities and events throughout the year to help promote independence and maintain dignity and self-worth to all our residents.

Designed to encourage mental alertness, self-esteem and social interaction, our activities are planned with everyone’s capabilities, interests and wishes into account. We offer a variety of both individual and group daily support to our residents to enhance well-being and encourage mental awareness.

Our Lifestyle Support Co-ordinators work with the staff, family members and relatives to ensure the best possible level of daily support is offered to each resident. We are also actively supported by our local community, from visits from schools, and Monday coffee mornings in our local cafe, to holding monthly toddler groups in our home, to name but a few.

Hospitality

Rosebank would be lost without our amazing Housekeeping Team, and Piotr, our fabulous Maintenance man. Each work on behalf of all our residents, every day, to ensure they have everything as they would like it.

Mealtimes are another important aspect of daily life at Rosebank and are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable. Residents can choose what they would like to eat, as well as where and when they would like to take their meals. Our Chefs, Daphne and Lisa, are truly exceptional. They work closely with each resident to know their personal preferences.

We prepare and cook healthy and wholesome seasonal meals, using high-quality local produce. Regular feedback is sought from residents at our weekly residents’ meetings, so any changes can be accommodated.
