Cokethorpe School And Rosebank Join Forces For Dementia Action Week
Rosebank Care Home took its Dementia Action Week campaign, ‘Turning Bampton Blue’, to the heart of the community by hosting a cake and raffle ticket sale in Bampton Market Square to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia UK.

The morning brought together residents, local families and supporters from across the area, and the community’s response was really encouraging.

Cokethorpe School deserves a special mention for their support on the day, for donating cupcakes and helping run the stall throughout the morning. Students and teachers were very charitable, giving their time, and were a big part of what made the day so warm and welcoming.

Rosebank and Cokethorpe School have built a genuine relationship over the years, collaborating regularly on projects that bring students and residents together in ways that benefit everyone involved.

Rosebank wants to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, attended, baked and bought raffle tickets. Thanks to their generosity, the fundraiser raised money for two charities doing vital work for people living with dementia and their families. It was a really lovely morning and a reminder of what a brilliant community Bampton is.
