Rosebank Care Home threw a party to thank our care teams who have done an exceptional job looking after our residents during the pandemic.
The dedication of all of our staff during such a challenging time has been highlighted by residents and families and is just one of the many reasons why we wanted to reward them for their tremendous efforts.
On the day of what would have been our annual garden fete, our staff organised a cowboy-themed party. Hosted by Rosebank’s owners, Jane and Gerry Roberts, it provided our staff and residents with the perfect opportunity to celebrate together.
Jane Roberts, owner, commented: “I’m delighted with my team’s response to COVID-19. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure our residents at Rosebank are safe, happy, and secure, and they continue to do so every day. The afternoon was wonderfully organised by the fabulous staff and gave the perfect opportunity to relax together as a team after a difficult few months. It was a much-needed tonic for everyone.
“Families and residents have been extremely grateful for everything the staff have done and continue to do. Their frequent gifts and letters have not only been appreciated but have helped boost staff morale too.”
Supporting relatives and residents to use Skype calls, and coming up with creative ways to keep residents entertained, are just two of the ways that our staff have been helping residents.
We are also welcoming new residents and families are welcome to view our home. All procedures are in place to allow this to happen safely.
