Elderly care at Rosebank

We offer residential care and specialist dementia care in a safe, comfortable and happy environment.

The last Care Quality Commission inspector commented on our commitment to make our residents and their families feel included in everything we do, and it’s true we strive to create a homely environment, where all our residents are valued as individuals.

We have a very successful and close relationship with local medical and nursing teams who support us brilliantly on a daily basis.

Experienced & Friendly Team

Our residents are cared for by experienced, friendly and enthusiastic staff who work closely as a team with both the individuals themselves and their families.

We have high staffing levels at all times to ensure excellent quality elderly care, which is carried out with particular attention to privacy and dignity.

Lynn Hughes, the Manager, has many years of experience working in elderly care, and has been at Rosebank since 2001. Jane, the owner, is a trained nurse and works closely with Lynn on a day to day basis.

Staff training is a priority at the home – staff are actively encouraged to follow a comprehensive training programme so that they can best meet the individual care needs of the residents. They are well respected and are actively supported by Jane and Lynn to enable them to do their job in a warm and professional manner.

Our most recent CQC report confirmed that ‘staff understood the needs of people, particularly those living with dementia and provided care with kindness and compassion’.

“Staff are always cheerful come what may and cope with different situations calmly and competently. Premises not custom build but adapted as effectively as possible. entertainment, distractions and activities well conducted and administered. Review relates to July 2016.”
