Activities at Rosebank Care Home
There is a lively social programme in the Home, and people enjoy a variety of activity, both in the Home and out in the community. We have a designated activity co-ordinator who works closely with all residents on a one to one basis, as well as organising group activities and entertainment and outings. This a central part of life at Rosebank.
We have monthly residents meetings at which events are discussed and we look to plan the forthcoming activity programme.
Activities range from painting classes to cookery lessons; we have had visits from the local Owl Sanctuary and the Oxford Theatre Group, to name but two.
Residents are encouraged to share their life memories. Activities are designed to be fun, but we also value the way in which they encourage self esteem, interactivity and a mutual respect.
